James McArthur is set to return for Crystal Palace at Manchester United tomorrow night, Alan Pardew has confirmed.

McArthur has been sidelined for more than two months and last featured for the Eagles in early February.

But the influential Scot is back at Pardew’s disposal – just in time for the FA Cup semi-final against Watford on Sunday.

Pardew said: “I’ve got even more good news – McArthur’s back for the Man United game. That’s really good news.”

Meanwhile, the boss revealed four first-team regulars will not feature at Old Trafford, although all should make Sunday’s Wembley showdown.

“Yala’s struggling a little, [Joel] Ward will miss tomorrow’s game, [Scott] Dann and [Joe] Ledley have knocks.

“They’ll make Sunday but not Man United.

“I will freshen it up, but we need to be strong and we need to be focussed – I won’t change it completely.

“There’s one of two changes I’ll definitely make for United. Just to increase the energy. We’ve got four Premier League games in 14 days.”
