Crystal Palace have joined London rivals West Ham in the hunt to sign Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike, reports say.
After enduring a desperate goal drought – the Eagles have scored one goal in five league games –Pardew is desperate to strengthen his attacking options.
The possibility of losing Connor Wickham for three matches after he was charged with violent conduct by the FA has exacerbated Palace’s need for reinforcement up front.
Palace have been linked with several strikers this month and Sky Sports report that Fenerbahce forward Emenike has joined that list.
West Ham reportedly made an offer to sign the 28-year-old on loan last week, but interest from Palace ensured any deal failed to be completed.
Emenike has been playing on loan for Al Ain in Dubai this season.
