Crystal Palace have joined Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the transfer race to sign Chelsea striker Loic Remy, reports say.
The Eagles’ current crop of forwards have scored just one goal between them all season, while Alan Pardew’s charge have failed to score in their last three games.
Pardew is keen to bolster his options up front and the Daily Mirror say the club are set to make a bid for Remy.

The French forward, 29, is said to be unhappy with the lack of first-team action at Stamford Bridge, although Guus Hiddink hopes the former Lyon goal-scorer stays in west London.
Pardew is a huge admirer of Remy, having worked with him while the pair were at Newcastle.
Palace will have substantial competition in securing Remy’s signature, however, with a host of clubs – including bottom-placed Villa – thought to be weighing up a move this January.
