Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann hailed the performance of goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey after the weekend win over Southampton.
The Eagles beat the Saints 1-0 at Selhurst Park, thanks to Yohan Cabaye’s fifth goal of the season, keeping them sixth in the Premier League table.
However, if not for two last-minute saves from Hennessey, Saturday’s result could have been very different.
Dann said: “We more than deserved the win, although we weren’t as clinical as we would like.

“Southampton had a couple of chances at the end, and I think Wayne’s kept the three points for us.
“He didn’t have many saves to make, but the couple he did make were really good saves. That’s why he’s in the team.”
Palace make the long trip to Stoke City this weekend, looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to four games.
