Millwall look a decent price to win at Ipswich on Saturday, with some bookmakers offering odds as big as 11-4 for the Lions to collect all three points at Portman Road.

Ian Holloway’s side are flying high in fifth spot after suffering only one defeat so far this season, while their hosts sit sixth bottom of the Championship having not won since the opening day.

That solitary victory came at home to hapless Fulham, so quite why Ipswich are as short as 11-10 with most firms is anybody’s guess.

Being at home is always an advantage - but not that much.

Take the 11-4 available with Bet Victor and Spreadex for a Millwall victory.

Home advantage, and Charlton’s impressive unbeaten start, haven’t stopped bookies making visitors Watford as short as 11-8 (Bet365 and William Hill) to win at The Valley on Saturday.

It seems many betting firms can’t accept they called it wrong before the season started by marking up both the Addicks and Millwall as likely relegation candidates.

Charlton have already beaten Wigan and Derby in SE7, two sides who reached the play-offs last season, and there is no reason why the Hornets can’t become victim number three.

Watford have made a fine start and sit second only a point behind leaders Nottingham Forest.

They also have Troy Deeney, which means Charlton’s defence can forget about having a quiet afternoon on their own patch.

However, the Addicks have a goal threat of their own in August Championship player of the month Igor Vetokele, and have already scored five times in their two home games against the Latics and Rams.

Interestingly Watford have changed manager since their last game after Beppe Sannino quit and was replaced by ex-Brighton boss Oscar Garcia, so Saturday could be as good a time as any to take them on.

Charlton are as big as 21-10 with Coral and I also like the look of the 8-13 with Bet365 for both teams to score.

I’m also tempted by a Millwall and Charlton double, best priced 10.78-1 with Spreadex.

In the Premier League Neil Warnock returns to Selhurst Park for his first game back in charge at the stadium where the Eagles take on Burnley.

One of Warnock’s highlights from his first spell at the club was a final day 5-0 drubbing of the Clarets in 2008 to book Palace a spot in that year’s play-offs.

I don’t believe it will be anywhere near as one-sided as that this weekend but I expect a Wilfried Zaha inspired Eagles to still beat one of their drop rivals and you can get 5-4 with Bet Victor for them to do so.

I fancy a 2-0 home win (9-1 Bet365), a price boosted to 22-1 if you include Dwight Gayle to score the first goal.
