Dougie Freedman has been reunited with Owen Garvan after the Crystal Palace midfielder completed a three-month loan switch from Crystal Palace to Bolton.
The 26-year-old represented the Eagles 78 times since joining from Ipswich in 2010 but has been on the fringes at Selhurst Park since the club won promotion to the Premier League.
He spent the latter stages of last season on loan at Millwall and is heading back to the Championship again after Freedman drafted him in at the Reebok on a temporary deal today.
Bolton are still searching for their first win of the campaign and currently sit in the relegation zone.
Garvan is expected to make his debut for his new side on Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday.
