BIRCHWOOD Park Golf Centre in Dartford has installed a new tees on the club’s par-three orchard course.

The new tees have been installed after an investment of £15,000 by the public pay-and-play centre, which will mean golfers can tee up all year round whatever the weather.

Birchwood Park general manager Graham Rolland said: “The new all-weather tees will provide an all year round playing surface that gives a true grass-like feel without being affected by weather or high volumes of usage.

“The nine-hole orchard course is the perfect place for families and young golfers to learn the game or for more established golfers to enjoy a quick game and practice those all-important short game skills.

“With holes ranging from 83 to 254-yards the course can be completed in 90 minutes and is a fun and challenging test for golfers of all ages and abilities.”
