A LEWISHAM table tennis club has been crowned as British league premier division champions.
Fusion TTC claimed the title in a thrilling finale to the season by beating Sycamore 6-2. Tied on points, Fusion won the title by a single match.
The winning team was made of Sule Olaleye, Lorestas Trumpauskas, Kazeem Adeleke and Tommy Cutler.
Fusion TTC is one of the largest community based table tennis clubs in London and the south east. Based at Haberdasher Aske Knights academy sports complex, they hold training sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
Fusion regularly attracts more than 50 players to their sessions, ranging from the age of five to 70.
