IN a hard-fought game, Old Colfeians went down in London Division One at Eton Manor despite having more of the possession.
Playing with the wind and the slight slope in the first half, Old Colfeians led 12-13 at the interval.
But the one point lead proved insufficient and Eton Manor, with a strong pack and the elements in their favour, put a further 15 points on the board in the second half, whereas OCs could only manage a further five.
Ed Livett and Sam Pemberton-Hill grabbed a try apiece for OCs, while James Poole added a conversion and two penalties.
Saturday sees Old Colfeians at home to Ruislip (ko 2.15pm).
