WITH their full squad still to assemble after the break, Shoots faced an uphill task against their opponents from Kent League One.
Shoots held their own in the forward exchanges in this friendly but the visitors' handling and running skills saw them home comfortably.
The hosts now have to work hard on all fronts to ready themselves for the Kent League Two programme ahead of them.
