GRAVESHAM Fencing Club’s Tyler Lucas continued his impressive season by collecting a silver medal at the latest event in the national Leon Paul junior fencing series.
The Gravesham Grammar School pupil was competing in the U13 boy’s epee category in Scotland and just missed out on gold after suffering a narrow defeat in the final.
Despite this, Lucas remains first in the Leon Paul junior series national rankings for his age group.
Gravesham Fencing Club meets on Tuesday and Friday evenings at Cygnets Leisure Centre in Northfleet, providing professional coaching led by Marc Chapman for all ages and abilities.
Beginner courses are held on Fridays for all ages at £3 per session, including all equipment and coaching.
