THIS time it was Southwark’s turn to avenge an earlier defeat.
They had clearly worked out how to nullify Shoots' moves and went full out to win.
Shoots failed to make the best of the first-half wind and their tackling fell short.
Try scorers for the beaten team were Glen Miller, Dave Viney and Edmar Vinluan, who also kicked a conversion and a penalty.
The defeat was disappointing for Shoots after an exceptional season which has so far seen them win 16 league matches and holding on to second place throughout.
Second spot seems assured and with it still comes a chance of promotion, depending on how the leagues might change next season.
