CHISLEHURST & Sidcup Grammar School’s U13 indoor girls’ cricket team became Kent county champions for the first time with victory at Canterbury.
Having already won the north Kent regional division, Chis & Sid met with other group winners from around the county for a shot at the title.
They enjoyed a clean sweep of wins against Maidstone Grammar School, Mascalls, Sir Roger Manwood’s and Highworth in the final.
Chis and Sid’s side is one of the strongest school teams the Bexley borough has ever produced, with five of the 10-player squad having already represented the district the girls sections at Bexley CC and Sidcup CC.
