NORTHFLEET MGCC MG Trophy driver Ash Shuttlewood is set to graduate to the Renault Clio Cup next year.

The 42-year-old has confirmed new outfit Team ARM will be running him for the 2011 season.

He said: “I see this as a fantastic opportunity to move my career to the next level and with my passion and determination to succeed, this is the ideal series for me to make my impression on the sport.

“I’m extremely excited to be driving for Team ARM and looking forward to the season ahead.”

Team ARM is a newly-formed team created by Trevor Flock and Alastair Rushforth.

The team is unique as it is the only one in the UK to be running in the Renault Clio Cup and the Triumph Triple Challenge.

As part of Shuttlewood’s ongoing development, he has joined up with Head Start.

This will allow him to attend various programmes aiding him in presentation skills, personality development, media skills and an intensive fitness program.

Head Start was created to help drivers like Shuttlewood become the stars of the future.
