TONY Durey was the first of the 13 Dartford Harriers to cross the line in the latest meeting of the Kent Fitness League on Sunday.

Club president Durey finished 10th overall on a tough course that included a water splash.

Lee Valley Indoor Stadium in Edmonton saw the continuation of the southern counties indoor championships at then weekend.

Having set a personal best in the 400m last weekend, U17 runner George Taylor continued to improve his own highest standards by setting a pb of 23.95s to finish third in the 200m heat.

Taylor was fourth in his semi final in 24.11s.

Alex Bell was third in his U20 200m heat with a time of 23.6s and fifth in the semi-final with a pb of 23.34s.
