Jimmy Galloway was one of four young drivers who were recipients of British motorsport's most prestigious kart-racing awards.
The 11-year-old from Bexleyheath travelled to the Royal Automobile Club in London's Pall Mall to receive his championship-winning trophies from John Surtees MBE, the only person in history to win world titles in both motor-cycling and Formula One.
Jimmy won not only the MSA British Cadet Kart Championship in 2004 but also the BRDC Stars of Tomorrow and O Plate titles.
