Greenwich narrowly lost a highly entertaining match against Croydon on Saturday, going down 10-5.
Croydon opened the scoring with a successful penalty kick, the only score of a lively first half.
After the break, Croydon managed to score in the corner, and kick the difficult conversion.
The Greenwich pack then began to dominate proceedings, with Ricky Cook's excellent kicking game giving them territorial advantage.
Despite a well-worked try from the backrow, Greenwich were unable to convert the pressure into points except for an unconverted try.
