Blackheath maintained their 100 per cent record and top-of-the-table position with an excellent victory over second place Ashford on Saturday.
Starting with all guns blazing, Blackheath were two goals up inside the first ten minutes with strikes from Hammett and Avis and continued to dominated the remainder of the half.
After the interval, Ashford fought back strongly and scored a goal while both sides were playing with ten men, but Blackheath held on for a deserved victory.
Blackheath ladies' first team also turned in an excellent peformance when beating BBHC 3-1.
Goals by Ayton, Antonioli, Pitt did the damage, but the defence had to work hard in the second half to ensure victory.
