Dartford & District under-11s, coached by Dave Whitaker and Kerry Page, kicked off their new Kent Primary League campaign with a devastating 8-0 home victory against their counterparts from Maidstone.

Jay Porter rattled the crossbar in the first minute before Dean Brewood opened the scoring in the ninth minute with the first of four goals, after he latched on to a through-ball from Richard Hamill before picking his spot.

Hamill found the target shortly after when he poked home Adam Wells' corner for a 2-0 lead who, aided by the underside of the bar, increased Dartford's lead to three-nil at the break. This was after Dartford's new recruit, Connor Duhig, had seen his effort land on top of the net.

Porter set up Hamill shortly after the break to score his second from a narrow angle, before Brewood fired home his his second and Dartford's fifth goal.

Georgie Smith volleyed home from 20 yards to make it six, before Brewood struck twice to complete the rout.

This weekend, Dartford entertain Ashford & District at Hayden Youth Association's ground, kick-off 10am.
