BBHC's men's first team took on a strong Tunbridge Wells on Saturday and immediately exerted early pressure, and were unlucky not to get an early goal.

However, four short corners later, Dave Cole did put them ahead with a swift shot to the back of the net.

A stern defensive display from Ravi Chana, Simon Myers and Chris Alburt saw BBHC keeping a clean sheet.

And it was not long before they extended their lead through new boy Henrico Murphy coolly slotting home the second.

The third goal came when skipper Dan Lucas scored.

Although it was a good solid performance, the game was over shadowed by three yellow cards.

Not so fortunate were BBHC's ladies' first team, who played a strong Seven-oaks second eleven.

BBHC had a number of short corners but were unable to convert any of them. They continued to press but inside the last five minutes, a harsh decision by the umpire gave Sevenoaks a short corner from which they netted the game's only goal.
