BEXLEY District girls suffered a heavy defeat in an away kwik cricket match at Norbury Manor School.
Playing in a much smaller hall than they have been used to against a team of much older and bigger players, Bexley struggled to adapt.
Batting first, Bexley recorded a net score of 199 runs with the hosts replying with a net score of 280, resulting in an 81-run defeat.
The Bexley District team was made up of players from the girls sections at Bexley CC and Sidcup CC.
Several other fixtures are being arranged for girls in Bexley in the run up to the London Youth Games U13 indoor cricket competition.
