BEN Ransley from Meopham has been confirmed as passenger for a newly launched F1 sidecar team.
Norfolk-based Team Ryder Racing (TRR) based in Norfolk believe Ransley’s experience at both F1 and F2 level over the last three years will bring a valuable contribution to the team.
Driving the sidecar will be Sam Ryder, who finished seventh in this year’s F1 championship as passenger for the B&S Racing team.
Ransley and Ryder will be spending the next few months testing and building up the expertise of the team, which they believe has the potential to go all the way to the world title.
