GRAVESEND Hockey Club made an excellent start against Bromley & Beckenham and were one up within two minutes when Lucy Darbon nipped in to beat the goalkeeper to a cross.
However, Gravesend were unable to capitalise on the continued pressure they had in the first half and the score remained 1-0 at the break.
Gravesend continued to push forward in the second half and were rewarded with their second goal when Karen Howell pounced on a rebound from the goalkeeper at a penalty corner.
But Bromley & Beckenham did not give up and soon pulled one back before grabbing a late equaliser to earn a share of the spoils.
