A YOUNG skier from Bexley took part in the French national races in Les Saisies recently.
Isobelle Smith has been skiing in France since the age of three and regularly races in the French Alpine Village of La Rosiere.
The nine-year-old Hurst Primary School pupil represented La Rosiere in the under-11s category of the French national races.
She finished 74th out of 109 racers on the opening day and 27th out of 49 competitors the following day.
Isobelle has already obtained silver medals in both the slalom and giant slalom in La Rosiere this year and has been promised a lycra racing suit to help improve her finishing times in the 2010 national races.
