GYMNASTS from Lewisham and Bromley were among the medals at the recent London regional grades competition.
The event is very intense, with more than 200 gymnasts competing in various age groups bidding to earn a place in national competitions.
Imani Davis, aged seven, from Lewisham, claimed gold in Grade 14, while Bromley’s Zoe Coughlan, aged nine, also took gold in Grade 13.
Lewisham duo Alyda Miller (Grade 13) and Roisin Mulvany (Grade nine) also won gold in their respective categories.
There were fourth placed finishes for Bromley’s Chloe Samuel (Grade 11) and Lynsey Miller.
All of the girls are members of the Charisma Gymnastics Club in Dulwich.
Senior coach Nikki Makin said: “I am astounded at the results.
“I believe that our philosophy happiness breeds success wins us through every time.”
