The South London & Kent Pool Alliance Founder's Cup quarter-final draw threw together some very interesting ties, with only one all Premier Division match and three teams from the lower divisions were pitted against sides from the top division.

It was a real David v Goliath affair, as the Division Two champions, Bellegrove Flyers visited the Premier Division leaders, Eltham Terrace Rovers.

The gap between the two sides meant nothing, as Flyers whitewashed the first set, 5-0, stunning Rovers.

The first four frames of the second set were shared, giving Flyers a, 7-2 advantage, needing just one frame for victory, which they got in the next frame, to have the match won without going into the third set.

It was a great all round team performance and an excellent achievement for Flyers, who race into the semi-final.

Joining Flyers are the Division One champions, Sharks after they also overcame top flight opposition.

Hustlers Simply Lovleh have been struggling recently, sinking to third bottom and they struggled in this match, losing the first set, 3-2.

Sharks went on to take the second set, 4-1 for an overall, 7-3 lead, then ENO Idiong won the first frame of the last set for an, 8-3 triumph.

The recent Lower Division Singles finalists, Arif Salih and Jeff Laporte both ended up unbeaten on two frame wins.

The other two ties were local derbies, as Academicals from Division Two played the top flight's Pickwick and there was the all Premier Division match between Eltham Terrace Nuthouse and Eltham Terrace Club A.

After losing the first frame, Pickwick won the next four, to take the set, 4-1 and they went on to win the match by, 8 frames to 3.

Pickwick's Rob Taylor won both of his frames but Paul Gafa led the attack, finishing on a hat-trick, which included two excellent clearances.

The Terrace derby was poised at six all when Nuthouse went in off on the black and the A team went on to win the next frame to complete an, 8-6 victory.

So Eltham Terrace Club A, Pickwick, Bellegrove Flyers and Sharks will contest the semi-finals mid-March.
