With just two weeks of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Division One season left, Fox & Hounds have levered themselves out of the relegation play-off place, with an emphatic win against Bellegrove A.

Fox took the first three frames but Bellegrove battled back to finish the set just, 3-2 down, however it was all in vain, as Fox whitewashed the second set to have the game won before the final set.

The last set finished the same as the first to give Fox & Hounds an overall, 11-4 triumph.

It was an excellent all round team performance, especially Neil Shelton, Alan Dolan and Glen Ward who all won three frames.

Bellegrove remain winless at the bottom but Fox are now two points ahead of the relegation play-off spot and eight points off of the promotion play-off place.

Fox overtook Eltham Terrace Rack Pack, who this week lost to the runaway league leaders, Sharks who also won by 11 frames to four and could seal promotion and the title next week.

Rose Inn lost ground on the top two, after a shock defeat to second from bottom, CSC Mr's & Miss Q's.

It was a very tight game from start to finish, with each set being won by the odd frame, 3-2, CSC taking the first and Rose the second, to level the scores at five all.

The first four frames of the last set were shared, sending the game into a final frame decider, between Rose Inn's Neil Mundy and Freddie Cook of CSC, with Cook holding his nerve to give his side the, 8-7 victory.

Despite his side's loss, Dean Greaney-Parr finished the night on an unbeaten hat-trick.

This was an Ideal opportunity for Rose Inn to close the gap on Crayford Social Club Rugrats, who had a free week but Rose are seven points behind and Rugrats have a game in hand, so it looks like Sharks and Rugrats will be gaining promotion to the Premier Division, while Rose Inn still have a fight on their hands for the promotion play-off spot.

Looking favourites to replace Sharks and Rugrats are Hustlers B and Bellegrove Social Club, who faced each other this week in a bottom of the SLKPA Premier Division clash.

Hustlers came out, 9-6 winners to leave Bellegrove twelve points adrift at the bottom and still searching for their first win of the season, with six games left to find it.

The rest of the division is pretty close, with just 22 points separating first and seventh.

Pickwick currently hold the relegation play-off place, after they lost to Eltham Terrace Club A this week by 10 frames to 5.

There were no unbeaten players in this match, however there was some great finishes amongst the fudging from both sides, with Terrace getting a slightly better rub of the green.

Terrace have jumped two places to fourth with Pickwick staying seventh, however joining them on 87 points are Hustlers A, who were comprehensively beaten by the league leaders, Eltham Terrace Rovers this week.

Hustlers didn’t do themselves any favours by only having three players but Rovers were in imperious form, winning the first set, 4-1, the second, 3-2 and whitewashing the last, 5-0 for an overall 12-3 triumph.

Adam Coppen won two of his three frames for Hustlers, which included a break and dish in the second set, with their other winner being Joe Kane.

Rovers Captain, Darren Porter won his only frame, Elliot Giles scored two out of two and Ryan Francis recorded three frame wins.

Steve Dixon also won all three of his frames but didn't pick up his cue, as he got three byes.

Hustlers have dropped from fourth to sixth, while Rovers have opened up a five point lead over Hotshots, after they could only manage a, 9-6 victory over Hustlers Simply Lovleh.

It was a close match, with Hotshots taking each set by the same, 3-2 score line. There were some good finishes by Danny Kelliher, Steve Krishnan, Tony Bolt and Richard Chapman who all scored two out of three.

Bellegrove hold onto third despite a surprise defeat to Eltham Terrace Nuthouse.

It looked like Bellegrove were going to have it all their own way, winning the first three frames but Nuthouse fought hard and took the last two frames of the set to reduce the score to, 3-2.

The second set went much the same as the first, this time Bellegrove won the first two frames and went on to win the set for an overall, 6-4 lead.

Nuthouse weren't lying down though, winning the next four frames to hit the magic number eight first, before Dean James took the final frame for an overall, 8-7 score line.

James was the only unbeaten player for Bellegrove, with a hat-trick and he was supported by Paul Cook and Steve Lloyd, both winning two of their three frames.

Also scoring two out of three was Nuthouse' Captain Craig Jones but Louis Wilbourne went one better, winning all three frames.

Nuthouse go from eighth to sixth, just one point ahead of Hustlers A and Pickwick and two points behind Simply Lovleh.

The top two in SLKPA Division Two, Bellegrove Flyers and New Eltham Club faced each other this week, with the league leaders looking to gain revenge for their only defeat of the season so far.

With just three matches left to play, Bellegrove have extended their lead to 15 points after their 9-6 victory.

It still looks as though these two will be going up automatically, as they are twelve points ahead of North Heath Social Club, in third place.

North Heath did their chances of securing the play-off place a world of good this week, with a 10-5 triumph over bottom team, Happy Hustlers.

Academicals will be fighting North Heath all the way, after they beat Foots Cray Social Club, to go five points behind North Heath.

The first three frames went to Academicals but Foots Cray fought back, taking the last two frames of the set.

Academicals went on to win the second set, 3-2 to take a, 6-4 lead into the final set but Foots Cray won the first three frames of the final set to take the lead for the first time in the match.

Knowing they needed to win this match if they wanted to stay in contention for the play-off place, Academicals rallied round and took the last two frames to win a tight match by 8 frames to 7.

Academicals Captain, Gary Mason led from the front with an unbeaten brace and he was supported by Tony Bailey and Robert Vile, both scoring two out of three.
