After the summer break the SLKPA Ladies Singles League returned, reaching the halfway stage.
The return certainly brought some great performances on the night.
None more so than Jade Holmes, claiming her first victory of the season, 3-1 against Lynn Maher-Bulbul, to go just 3 points behind Donna Mullins.
Kerry Wyatt hit the top of the league after finishing victorious by 3 frames to 0, in a showdown with fellow top spot challenger, Petrina Pearce.
However, Pearce won her other match, 3-1 against Holmes to stay within 2 points of Wyatt.
But the return did claim it's first casualties, with Natalie Barnes and Mimi Cunningsworth having to withdraw, so the table has been adjusted and their results removed.
As a result Angie Hobbs only had one match on the night, against Julie Lancaster, which she won, 3-1 to keep in touch with the top two.
Just 2 points behind her is, Claire Stork, after she won both her matches, 3-0 against Mullins and a much closer, 3-2 against Lancaster.
Despite these losses both Mullins and Lancaster did manage a victory each, against Holmes and Sam Vohmann respectively.
Vohmann and Maher-Bulbul are sixth and seventh after picking up 2 victories each, which included a match between the two, where Maher-Bulbul triumphed, 3-2.
