Week eleven of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance and Happy Hustlers have picked up their second victory of the season to lift them off the bottom of Tier Two West.

Fox & Hounds took an early lead, winning the first set, 3-2 but Hustlers put really big smiles on their faces by taking the next two sets, 4-1 for an overall, 2-1 & 10-5 triumph.

The Hustlers players with the biggest smiles were Danny Campbell and Jade Holmes, who both won all three of their frames.

Hustlers are now just two points behind their opponents and two points in front of the new bottom team, Academicals.

Crayford Social Club Rugrats were the victors by 3 sets to 0 & 10 frames to 5, with the damage being done in the first set, which they took, 4-1.

Academicals rallied round in the next two sets but they couldn't prevent Rugrats winning them both by the odd frame, 3-2.

Chris Bracey recorded his first victory of the season but Jenny Pearmund was Academicals player of the night, playing brilliantly, finishing off with a fantastic shot on the black for her victory.

This triumph puts Rugrats into third place, after Hustlers B lost to the division leaders, Eltham Terrace Nuthouse.

The first set went Nuthouse's way by, 4 frames to 1, with Leighton Aston preventing the whitewash for Hustlers.

The next set swung both ways but Nuthouse claimed it, 3-2 before going on to take the first three frames of the final set to wrap up maximum points.

Hustlers won the last two frames of the final set to make the score, 3-0 & 10-5 in Nuthouse's favour.

Jon Syta won two of his three frames but Shane O'Reilly and Louis Wilbourne went one better with unbeaten hat-tricks.

Nuthouse stay two points ahead of Sharks after they recorded a massive, 3-0 & 12-3 victory over Bellegrove A.

It was a bad day at the office for Bellegrove, who lost each set, 4-1 with John Skuza saving the whitewash in the first and second sets and Pat Melia in the third.

With just three games to play it looks like the race for automatic promotion is between Nuthouse and Sharks, with the other likely to occupy the play-off place.

Despite having their relegation sealed last week, bottom of the SLKPA Elite League, Royal Oak also secured their second victory of the season.

However, they had to share the points with Eltham Terrace Rovers, as even though Royal Oak won, 2-1 in sets, Rovers scored more frames, 8-7 to secure the bonus point.

John Cochrane was the only unbeaten player on the night, winning all three of his frames for Royal Oak.

Rovers stay in fourth, just one place behind Eltham Terrace Club A, who could only manage a, 2-1 & 8-7 victory over second from bottom, Bellegrove Social Club.

Terrace would have looked to take maximum points when they won the first set, 3-2 but Bellegrove battled back and took the second set by the same score to set up a thrilling final set.

That was not to happen though, as Terrace won the first three frames to win the set, the match and the bonus point but Bellegrove did take the last two frames to make the score more respectable.

Dave Rawlinson was in good form for Terrace, winning all three of his frames, Including a dish from a dry break in the eleventh frame.

There was a real tussle at the top, with the top two, Hotshots and Falconwood facing each other on equal points.

First blood went to Falconwood, taking the first set, 3-2 but Hotshots woke up and won the first three frames of the second set to take it and open up a, 5-3 lead, however Falconwood took the last two frames to level the match at one set and five frames all.

Hotshots then picked up the first two frames of the final set before Falconwood pulled one back but a break and dish from Tony Wilson won the match for Hotshots and Clive Black won the last frame for Falconwood to make the final score, 2-1 & 8-7.

Connor Hewson and Ian Ali both won two of their three frames for the victors but team mate and Captain, Andre Cox scored three out of three.

This victory puts Hotshots two points clear of their rivals at the top of table.

It was an odd match between Falconwood Club and Falcons, as neither team had a full quota, the home team only had four and the visitors three but somehow a match was played, with Falconwood Club winning, 3-0 & 11-4.

Rich Sheppard won two of his three frames but Jeff Bailey and Stacy Redman recorded unbeaten hat-tricks.

Falcons are finding giving away frames costly, as this is the fifth time this season they have turned up short and they find themselves third from bottom and in danger of relegation.

Pickwick look to be returning to the Elite League at the first time of asking, as they are still top of SLKPA Tier Two East after their recent, 3-0 & 11-4 victory over CSC Mr's & Miss Q's.

The first two sets were quite close, with Pickwick just edging them, 3-2 but they turned on the style in the final set, whitewashing it, 5-0, with Rob Taylor clearing well to secure all four points in the thirteenth frame.

Billy Levingbird and Paul Gafa both performed well for their unbeaten hat-tricks.

CSC move to the bottom of the table after Foots Cray Social Club share the points with Eltham Terrace Rack Pack, with Rack Pack winning in sets, 2-1 but Foots Cray scored more frames, 8-7.

North Heath Social Club stay three points behind Pickwick, as they matched their, 3-0 & 11-4 score, against promotion rivals Rose Inn.

Unfortunately Rose Inn made things difficult for themselves by only having four players but they put up a good fight in the first set, only going down, 3-2.

The first set see-sawed, which was summed up when Akar Necati trebled his final colour then jaw the black on a shot you would expect him to sink, allowing Dean Greaney-Parr to pot it and take the frame.

However, later in the match Necati made up for his misfortune by again potting his final colour off a cushion but this time he sunk the black to beat Neil Mundy.

North Heath pulled away in the second set, winning it, 4-1, albeit with a bit of good fortune when Ben Main potted the black at the beginning of the frame to give Ryan Sullivan the victory and only a great clearance from Jack Wilson prevented the whitewash.

In the final set there were some excellent clearances, most notably from Ian Stringer for North Heath and Greaney-Parr but North Heath still took it by 4 frames to 1.

Rose Inn's night was probably summed up in the final frame when Mundy potted a superb red along the rail but missed the black sitting over the pocket, giving Brett Crawley the opportunity to finish off the frame which he duly obliged.

Rose Inn stay in fifth but Bellegrove Flyers go from strength to strength, with a win in sets and are now four points behind North Heath.

Flyers were looking for their fourth victory in a row and they got just that, winning, 2-1 in sets but they had to share the points with Falconwood Club A, as they scored more frames, 8-7.

Paul Dawson won two of his three frames for Flyers but team mate Keith Mitchell went one better with a hat-trick and he was joined by Gary Mason from the Falconwood.

This result keeps Falconwood four points behind Flyers but they are now three points ahead of Rose Inn.

Just three matches to go in the summer season and it's still all to play for in all three divisions, so it should be an exciting end to the season.
