Falconwood Club have hit the top spot of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Elite League, after a massive 3-0 in sets & 12-3 in frames victory over Pickwick.

Pickwick offered their opponents far too many chances and they paid the price as Falconwood had the match sewn up within the first two sets, taking a 9-1 lead in frames as well as the 2-0 lead in sets.

Falconwood had a fight on their hands in the third set though as the first four frames were shared, sending the set into a final frame decider, which Barry Barham won, for his hat-trick, to give his team maximum points.

Alex Lawrence joined Barham on three frame wins and Stacy Redman was also unbeaten on two out of two.

Falconwood join Bellegrove on fifteen points but leapfrog them by just two frames to lead the division.

Bellegrove would have stayed top with a win but Hotshots started the better taking the first seven frames and the first set in the process.

They only needed one more frame to secure the match but were thwarted in the eighth and had to wait until Steve Krishnan won a tactical battle in the ninth, to celebrate.

Hotshots eventually won the set, 3-2 for a 2-0 & 8-2 overall lead, however Bellegrove hadn’t lost their fight in the final set, taking it to a final frame decider, where Clive Black cleared up from a dry break to earn a valuable point.

The final score was 2-1 & 10-5 to Hotshots with Andre Cox winning all three of his frames and Bellegrove’s Kevin Smith both of his.

Hotshots stay in third and Eltham Terrace Club A remain fourth despite a 2-1 & 9-6 victory over Falconwood Social.

Falconwood got off to a flyer, winning the first set 3-2 but Eltham tied the match, winning the second set by the same score before pushing on to take the final set by 4 frames to 1, with Elliot Giles securing the one for his unbeaten hat-trick.

Eltham's Louis Wilbourne also scored a hat-trick with his including a superb clearance from a dry break.

Royal Oak Addicks won the opening frame against Glenmore Arms B but lost the next eleven, giving Glenmore the victory, however Addicks took the last three frames to steal a point, their first of the season.

Tony Gear and Jordan O’Connor won all three of their frames in their team’s 2-1 & 11-4 triumph.

Rising Sun extend their lead at the top of SLKPA Tier Three to eight points with a massive 3-0 & 14-1 triumph over Orpington Sports Club to become the only unbeaten team left in the whole league.

Rose Inn lead the chasing pack with a 2-1 & 8-7 win over Bellegrove Flyers.

Dean Geary-Parr was the inspiration behind the victory, winning all three of his frames.

Foots Cray Social Club remain bottom despite their narrow 2-1 & 8-7 loss against third placed Crayford Social Club 2.

The match was tied at one set all and seven frames all when Steve Aldridge held his nerve to complete a break and dish to win his third frame of the night and give Crayford the victory. Royal Oak’s 100% record at the top of SLKPA Tier Two East was obliterated by Crayford Social Club Rugrats, although they hang on to pole position.

The first set went the way of the divisional leaders by three frames to two but Rugrats turned on the style and won the next two sets, 5-0 and 4-1 for an overall 2-1 & 11-4 victory.

Rugrats Captain, Scott Shephard performed a break and dish on his way to two out of three frame wins but Shane Burnett and Ian Cruwys went one better with three out of three.

Royal Oak are now just two points ahead of their opponents in second, who have overtaken North Heath Social Club after they shared the points against Bellegrove A.

North Heath looked to be holding onto second place, as they took the first set, 4-1 but Bellegrove battled hard and won the second set 3-2 before taking the final set to two all and a final frame decider.

Bellegrove Captain, Jon Syta pulled off an outrageous fluke to win the frame, the set and the match by 2 sets to 1, although North Heath scored more frames, 8-7.

The outcome was even more satisfying as Bellegrove only had four players.

The teams placed in fifth and sixth faced each other and there was nothing in it as both Eltham Terrace Rack Pack and Glenmore Arms also shared the points.

Rack Pack raced to a 4-1 lead to take the first set but Glenmore fought hard and won the next two sets 3-2 to win the match 2-1 in sets despite Rack PacK securing more frames by 8 to 7.

Five matches in and Rack Pack are yet to win a game but have eight points after sharing the spoils in four of their five matches.

A 100% record has also gone at the top of SLKPA Tier Two West and in absolute style with Eltham Terrace Rovers thrashing Bellegrove Social Club, 3-0 & 13-2.

It was a great all round team performance with Lee Osborn, Dean Rider, Ryan Francis and Darren Porter all winning all three of their frames.

The margin of victory was incredibly important with Rovers joining their opponents on 16 points but they overtake them by winning just two more frames.

Pickwick Academicals were hoping to record their second victory of the season against Fox & Hounds but it wasn’t to be as they lost the first two sets by 4 frames to 1, however they didn’t let this get them down and they recovered to take the last set by the same score for an overall 2-1 & 9-6 score in Fox’s favour.

On the night there was only two unbeaten players, one from each side, with Academicals Paul Thomas winning both his frames but Fox’s Clive Forrest went one better, winning all three.

Greyhound Elite are still winless and remain bottom of the division after losing 2-1 & 8-7 to Eltham Terrace Nuthouse.

It was a close, hard fought match where the first and third sets went down to a final frame decider with both sides being successful.

Bill Mossom did his best for Greyhound, winning all three of his frames but Craig Jones and Julie Lancaster were also in fine form for Nuthhouse and completed their own hat-tricks.
