After a close victory last week against Rugrats, North Heath Social Club have hit the top of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Tier Two East, with a massive win over Glenmore Arms.

North Heath took the first set, 4-1 but Glenmore fought back in the second, although North Heath still won it, 3-2 and they didn't look back, whitewashing the final set for a 3-0 and 12-3 overall victory.

It was an excellent all round team performance, withIan Stringer and Dave Selby winning all three of their frames and Brett Crawley was also unbeaten on a brace, with Kev Nankoo and Paul Baker finishing on two out of three frame wins.

They are two points above Royal Oak, who shared the points with Eltham Terrace Rack Pack this week.

It was the second week in a row that Rack Pack have shared the points, with Royal Oak winning 2-1 in sets but Rack Pack edged it in frames, 8-7 to give them four points without technically winning a game.

Tony Frost was in awesome form, winning all three of his frames including two break and dishes and Alex Thompson was close behind him with two out of three.

Royal Oak finished the game with two unbeaten players, Phil Tworek with a hat-trick and Steve Heather with two frame wins.

They hang onto second despite Bellegrove A joining them on five points, after they inflicted a surprise second defeat of the season on Crayford Social Club Rugrats.

It was a close match that could have gone either way but the damage was done in the second set when Bellegrove just missed out on the whitewash with a 4-1 win on their way to a 2-1 & 9-6 triumph.

Pat Melia was the star of the show for Bellegrove, winning all three of his frames and Jon Syta was also unbeaten with two out of two.

After just two games there seems to be a real battle ensuing in Tier Two West, with Bellegrove Social Club and Eltham Terrace Rovers at the top with identical unbeaten records.

Last week Rovers beat Greyhound Elite, 3-0 & 10-5 and Bellegrove did the same this week but by the slightly greater margin of, 3-0 & 12-3.

Martin Hession won both of his frames but Martin Luff and Jason Brunton went one better with hat-tricks.

Rovers matched the 3-0 & 12-3 score against Fox & Hounds, with the extent of the victory being a bit of a shock given Fox's excellent win last week.

Rovers clicked right from the off, taking the first set 5-0 and the second 4-1 but they must have took their foot off the gas in the final set, only winning it 3-2.

Geoff Evans remains unbeaten for the season by winning his only frame and he was joined by Kevin England in winning just one frame, also unbeaten were Ryan Francis and Lee Osborn who won three frames each.

Not to be outdone was Dean Rider who performed a break and dish in the second set.

Eltham Terrace Nuthouse picked themselves up after last week's defeat and showed what they can do with a full team, as they beat Pickwick Academicals 3-0 & 11-4.

They won the first and third sets 4-1, sandwiching a 3-2 victory in the second set.

Zoe Healy has started the season with a bang, following up her unbeaten hat-trick last week with another this week.

Other unbeaten players this week were, Craig Jones with a brace and Lester Barrow and Shaun Shephard, winning a frame each.

Despite the loss, Academicals lift themselves off the bottom, going above Greyhound by one frame.

Royal Oak Addicks have had a baptism of fire in their first season in the SLKPA Elite League, facing the winter season cup winners last week and the league champions, Bellegrove this week.

They fared slightly worse this week with Bellegrove winning 3-0 in sets and 12-3 in frames to go top of the division and cement the Addicks to the bottom.

Bellegrove had four unbeaten players, with Paul Williams victorious in his only frame, Paul Donohoe winning his two and Richie Mitchell and Tony Halpin triumphant in all three of theirs.

Jumping into second from fourth is Glenmore Arms B after a big win against Falconwood Social.

They didn't have it all their own way though, as Falconwood won the first set, 3-2 and went on to take a 4-3 lead but Glenmore won the next eight frames on the bounce to give them an overall victory by 2 sets to 1 and 11 frames to 4.

Tony Gear was the inspiration behind the comeback by winning all three of his frames.

Falconwood's other team, Falconwood Club had mixed fortunes against Eltham Terrace Club A, taking the first six frames, which included a break and dish from Kieran Evans in the first set and another from Alex Lawrence in the sixth frame.

Eltham battled back well, winning the remaining four frames of the set to tie the match in sets, one a piece.

Falconwood scored another break and dish in the final set through Stacy Redman but it wasn't enough as Eltham went on to win the set, 3-2 for a 2-1 in sets victory but they had to share the points as Falconwood won in frames, 8-7.

This result drops Eltham to third, one point ahead of their opponents in fourth.

Hotshots bounced back from losing the first set against Pickwick, 3-2 to win the second by the same score to level the match at one set and five frames all and they went on to take the final set, 4-1 for an overall 2-1 & 9-6 victory.

Pickwick's young gun, Billy Levingbird faced Danny Kelliher in the last two sets and both were in good form, but as Kelliher was looking to gain the upper hand in both frames with good snookers, Levingbird escaped and potted to go on and win both frames and remain unbeaten on the night.

Hotshots' Captain, Andre Cox led by example with a wonderful three out of three and he was backed up by Steve Krishnan and Alex Dobbins, who both won two of their three frames.

Bellegrove Flyers got off to a flyer in SLKPA Tier Three with a 2-1 & 8-7 win over Foots Cray Social Club, which was all the better as they only had four players.

Father and son duo Peter and Nik Gray were the ones to thank for Bellegrove after they both won all three of their frames on their debuts for the team.

George Haydon also finished on an unbeaten hat-trick for Foots Cray.

Flyers go up to fourth but early division leaders, Orpington Sports Club drop to third after losing, 3-0 & 10-5 to Crayford Social Club 2, who are promoted to second.

The new division leaders are Rising Sun, who kept up their 100% record with a 3-0 & 11-4 victory over Plumstead Radical Club.
