The penultimate week of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Division One and although the title has already been decided, the two teams from Eltham Terrace will battle it out for the last automatic promotion spot, after this week's results.

Nuthouse made it three wins in a row with an impressive 11-4 victory over Fox & Hounds.

Neil Shelton got Fox off to a great start, winning the first frame but Nuthouse won the next four in the set, which included the loudest cheer of the night when Julie Lancaster beat Clive Forrest.

Nuthouse took the next set, 3-2 to leave them only needing one for victory but Forrest did get his own back on Lancaster.

Although they only needed one frame from the final set they ended up with four to make the final score, 11-4 and it wasn't Forrest's night as he lost to Zoe Healy.

The other winners for Nuthouse were Craig Jones, Shane O'Reilly and Dave Sparey, who all won three frames.

This win puts them level on points with Rack Pack, who this week lost to Pickwick Academicals by 9 frames to 6.

It was a bit of a shock as Academicals are battling relegation but they stunned Rack Pack by taking the first two sets, 4-1 to win the game by the end of the second set.

They must have took their foot off the gas though in the last set, as Rack Pack turned it round and won the set by the same 4-1 score.

Tony Frost and Chris Unwin were the inspiration behind the comeback, both winning two of their three frames.

It was an excellent performance with everyone chipping in on a match the Academicals needed to win, with two players, Donna Levingbird and Chris Bracey finishing unbeaten, winning one and two frames respectively.

Royal Oak Addicks took a strong side to already crowned division champions, Falconwood Social and this was reflected in the closeness of the score.

Each set was won by the odd frame, 3-2, with Falconwood taking the first and third to win the match by 8 frames to 7.

Even though the match was so close Falconwood still finished with two unbeaten players, as Leighton Aston and Trevor Biggs scored hat-tricks.

Bellegrove have extended their lead at the top of the SLKPA Premier Division to five points after a masterful display against Eltham Terrace Rovers.

They were in full control and dominated the match from start to finish, ending up 13-2 winners.

Craig Mallinder faced Lee Osborn in each set and won all three, including a dish from a dry break in the second and Mallinder was joined by Tony Halpin and Kevin Smith on three frame wins.

The only shining light for Rovers was Ryan Francis performing a break and dish in the second set.

Rovers are now only one point ahead of relegation rivals, Glenmore Arms A who went down to Falconwood Club.

It was a decent performance from Falconwood, who are now third after the 11-4 triumph.

Stacy Redman, Barry Barham and Dayle Stork all did their best to secure the victory by winning all three of their frames.

North Heath Social Club also suffered an 11-4 defeat, against Eltham Terrace Club A, so remain seven points behind Glenmore.

Jumping into second is O'Connors, who beat fellow title chasing Hotshots by an unusually large 11-4 score line.

The closest match in the division was between Crayford Social Club Rugrats and Pickwick, however it didn't look like it was going to be close, as Pickwick took a 4-1 lead but Rugrats reversed that score in the second set to make it five all.

Pickwick rattled off the next three frames, which included a break and dish from Paul Dawson to win the match but Rugrats won the last two frames to make it a more respectable, 8-7 in Pickwick's favour.

Paul Gafa was the only unbeaten player on the night, winning both his frames.

Not only was it a close match between these two but there are now only three points separating them in the table.

There was a shock in the SLKPA Division Two eliminator as Glenmore Arms 2, who finished ten points behind their opponents Bellegrove A, ripped up the form book.

Lewis Hearn got Glenmore off to a perfect start with a break and dish and they went on to win the first set, 4-1.

Bellegrove managed to pull it back to 4-3 but Glenmore won the next four frames to win the match, 8-3.

Hearn not only started the match but he finished it as well with his third frame win of the night.

After dispatching Bellegrove A, Glenmore face top seeded Bellegrove Social Club in the eliminator final, after they beat Crayford Social Club 2 by 8 frames to 4.
