Hotshots have extended their unbeaten run to eleven matches this season and have finally hit the top spot in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Premier Division.

It was a massive result for them, as they needed a huge win to go top and they dominated from the start to beat Crayford Social Club Rugrats by 13 frames to 2.

Tony Wilson took a wonderful clearance for his only frame but Steve Krishnan and Ben Creffield went one better, with an unbeaten brace with Danny Kelliher and Neil Hall achieving hat-tricks.

As a result of the big win, Hotshots have not only gone top but also became one of three teams in the division this week to break 100 points for the season, with 104.

Previous leaders, Falconwood Club also broke 100 points but drop to third after being beaten by fourth placed, Bellegrove who just missed out on the 100 club this week.

The damage was done in the first set, with Bellegrove taking it by 5 frames to 0 and they went on to win the match 10-5.

The other team to go over 100 points were O'Connors, who beat Glenmore Arms A, 9-6 to remain in second.

The second half of the season should be an exciting one as there are only five points between the top four teams.

Towards the bottom, Eltham Terrace Rovers and North Heath Social Club only had one win each, so one of their records had to improve.

Rovers started the better, taking the first set, 3-2 which included a break and dish from Ryan Francis and both North Heath's frames were won by Rovers potting the black out of turn.

The match continued in that vain, with Rovers taking the next two sets by the same score for an overall 9-6 victory.

Player of the night was Dean Rider, whose three out of three included a 7-baller and a break and dish.

Rovers stay in seventh but close the gap On Rugrats from fifteen points to eight.

Pickwick welcomed the Christmas break, after going on one of their worst losing streaks in their history but they started 2016 with a win.

They finally found a bit of form, with George Hammond and Dean James winning two of their three frames and Martin Storey both of his to help them to an 8-7 triumph over Eltham Terrace Club A.

Falconwood Social are flying high at the top of SLKPA Division One and are now an incredible thirty points clear of their nearest rivals.

The 11-4 victory over Pickwick Academicals also saw them breeze past 100 points onto 107.

Billy Levingbird and Angie Hobbs came out with some credit for Academicals by splitting the team's four frames between them.

Academicals remain in fourth but they have been overtaken by Eltham Terrace Nuthouse despite losing the battle of Eltham Terrace to Rack Pack.

Nuthouse won the first set, 3-2 but Rack Pack turned it round and took the next two sets by the same score for an 8-7 victory overall.

Shane O'Reilly and Craig Jones played well for Nuthouse, both winning two of their three frames but Rack Pack's Tony Frost and Ernie Wellhausen went one better with unbeaten hat-tricks.

Not playing this week has had a detrimental effect on Royal Oak Addicks, dropping two places to fifth but only two points separate the three teams in third, fourth and fifth.

Only one match was played in SLKPA Division Two and Crayford Social Club 2 have jumped two places into second with a 10-5 win over bottom team Greyhound Elite.
