Week five of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance and the two teams from the Bellegrove that played this week both recorded massive 12-3 victories.

Bellegrove A reclaimed the top spot in Division Two by thrashing Greyhound Elite by 12 frames to 3.

It was a fantastic team performance, as each set was won, 4-1 and every player chipped in.

Captain John Skuza won his only frame, as did Terry Mitchell, Stephen Craig and Nathan Lampen secured two of their three frames but Jon Syta and Keith Smith went one better with unbeaten hat-tricks.

In the other game played in the division, Glenmore Arms 2 have jumped into third, just nine points behind their opponents, Foots Cray Social Club, after beating them 9-6.

Bellegrove are third in the SLKPA Premier Division but just one point behind the leaders, after a 12-3 victory that has sent their opponents, North Heath Social Club to the bottom.

Despite the margin of victory, North Heath were not totally outplayed, with many frames going to the wire.

The big differences were Bellegrove's ability to finish a frame off and playing the right shots at the right time.

The best at this were, Craig Mallinder, Tony Halpin and Paul Williams, who all won three frames each.

Falconwood Club and Hotshots provided a great advert for the SLKPA, as two great teams battled it out, with a high standard of pool on show.

Each set was won by the odd frame, 3-2 and it was Hotshots who took each set to remain unbeaten for the season with the 9-6 victory.

Amongst the quality on show was a break and dish from Falconwood's Declan Kelly and Neil Hall from the Hotshots won all three of his frames.

Even though they are unbeaten, Hotshots have dropped to second, as O'Connors 10-5 win over Eltham Terrace Club A, has taken them to the top by only one point.

Pickwick followed up their first win last week with another this week, by 8 frames to 7 over Glenmore Arms A.

it was a strange game that contained a large number of flukes and Glenmore did incredibly well to comeback from the dead to make it a contest.

If your name is Dean it was a good night, as Pickwick's Dean James performed a break and dish in frame eight and Dean Geary-Parr was unbeaten for the Glenmore on three out of three.

Crayford Social Club Rugrats have climbed to fifth in the table with an impressive 10-5 win over Eltham Terrace Rovers.

Falconwood Social return to winning ways and stretch their lead at the top of SLKPA Division One to fifteen points.

This week they travelled to Fox & Hounds and did all the damage in the first set, taking it 4-1 and they went on to win the next two sets, 3-2 for an overall 10-5 victory.

Steve Dixon and Elliott Giles were the inspiration behind the triumph, both winning all three of their frames.

Falconwood maybe running away but there is only nine points between the other five teams in the division and there was plenty of chopping and changing this week.

With both Eltham Terrace Premier Division teams losing, it was a reversal of fortune for their teams in this division.

Rack Pack lifted themselves off the bottom, with somewhat of a surprise 9-6 victory over second placed Royal Oak Addicks.

The victors new signing, Richie Felson got off to a great start by taking two of his three frames.

However they did have two unbeaten players, Ernst Wellhausen with a hat-trick and Dan O'Rourke, who made it five out of five with his two frame wins this week.

After arriving at the Pickwick to play the Academicals to find they should have been at home the Nuthouse did well to compose themselves and take the first set, 4-1.

They went on to take the second set by the same score to secure the match and they looked like they were going onto a thrashing by taking the first two frames of the final set but Academicals staged a mini comeback, winning the last three frames to make the final score 10-5.

Dean Williams did his best to keep the score respectable by winning two of his three frames.

Shane O'Reilly top scored for the Nuthouse and he was backed up by, Craig Jones, Dave Sparey and Julie Lancaster, who all won two of their three frames to send their team into third place and Academicals to the bottom.
