Swanley motocross course Canada Heights will host the final round of the 2015 MAXXIS British sidecar cross championships on October 4.

The meeting will feature British championship sidecars and British championship quads, as well as full support races from the solos with some of the quickest riders in the south-east.

The competition has come down to the wire with an exciting climax, after five rounds this year’s championship is still not settled with defending champions Stuart Brown and Josh Chamberlain leading Brett Wilkinson and Steve Kirwin by 49 points.

With 75 points on offer in the three races at Canada Heights it is possible for Wilkinson to win the title, but as Brown is yet to be beaten this year that is unlikely.

Currently in third place are Simon Bradford and Luke Peters, 51 points behind Wilkinson but only 26 points ahead of the much improved Nick Jarvis and Dan Chamberlain.

Also embedded in the main championship races is the new experts class.

This is currently being led by Tony Grahame and Scott Lloyd with another Irish crew, Gary Moulds and Alan Gardner, still in with a chance of snatching the title.

With more than 30 of the country’s top teams entered the racing should be worth watching especially as nobody has ridden on this track layout now the direction has been reversed.

Entry is £10 with kids under 14 free and car parking is free.
