It's taken nine weeks but Foots Cray Social Club Minions have secured their first win in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Tier Two East.

The game looked like it was going to go like their previous ones, as Bellegrove Social Club took the first set 5-0.

Minions bounced back and took the next two sets 3-2 to win the match 2-1 in sets, however Bellegrove got more frames, 9-6 to share the the points.

The newly crowned Lower Division Singles Champion, Dayle Stork was the hero for Falconwood, winning each of the deciding frames.

It could have been a very different result had Glenmore taken their chances but Falconwood hing in there for maximum points.

Plumstead Radical Club Rebels still head the chasing pack after they beat North Heath Social Club, 2-1 in sets but North Heath narrowly edged it in frames, 8-7.

Overall it was a very close game that could have gone either way, especially in the first two sets which Rebels won 3-2 both times.

They went on to win the second set 3-2 before Academicals reversed that in the final set.

Jason Levingbird won two of his three frames for Academicals as did Shaun and Aaron Shephard for Nuthouse but Shane O'Reilly went one better with a hat-trick.
