The British Superbike Championship returns for its biggest event of the season at Brands Hatch between July 17 and 19.

And ‘Big Brands Bash’ will kick-off once again with a free event for spectators on the Thursday (July 16) to preview the weekend ahead.

Brands Hatch’s Grand Prix circuit will open its doors to members of the public from midday, the same time the huge campsite opens ahead of the event, giving spectators unprecedented access behind the scenes as the teams and riders prepare for the weekend ahead.

Fans will be able to meet the riders at the Monster Energy rig located at Clark Curve throughout the afternoon, where live Q&A sessions with the leading contenders will be hosted by British Eurosport’s Matt Roberts.

Spectators will also be able to hear all the latest news ahead of the weekend with opportunities for autographs and photos.

The public can take a walk down the pitlane from 3pm for two hours to get a closer look at the teams and to see the Superbikes before they hit the track in anger on Friday.

An official track walk will take place on the iconic Grand Prix circuit from 5pm to 6pm.

The event formally gets underway on the Friday with MCE BSB free practice as Kent’s Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne continues the defence of his record-breaking fourth championship.

An international field of riders lining up to halt his title charge including Australia’s Josh Brookes and Japan’s Ryuichi Kiyonari.

Discounted advance tickets for the BSB Big Brands Bash are available now.

Adult raceday admission on Sunday is £26 online, and three-day adult tickets are £34.

Camping is £18 per person and children under 13 go free.
