Seven weeks ago, on the first day of the season Plumstead Radical Club Rebels beat Royal Oak in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Tier Two East by 2 sets to 1 and 9 frames to 6, with the sets scores, 4-1, 3-2 and 2-3 and it was exactly the same this time round, in exactly the same order.

Rebels will be kicking themselves though, feeling they should have taken maximum points after going 2-0 up in the final set, only for Oak to win the last three frames to steal the set.

Royal Oak Captain, Paul Clements was unbeaten, winning both his frames, as did Tony Stork and Leighton Aston for Rebels.

This result cements Rebels in second place, four points ahead of their opponents.

Seven points ahead of Rebels at the top are Falconwood Club, who this week beat Minions, 3-0 and 13-2.

All credit to Minions, who played with only three players and battled hard, deserving to win more frames than the two they did.

Dayle Stork and Stacy Redman both played three and won three, with Redman's including a break and dish after potting three reds and choosing yellows.

If Minions were brave by playing with three players then Glenmore Arms 2 were the opposite, failing to field a side giving North Heath Social club the walkover win.

In SLKPA Tier Two West, Glenmore Arms A had better fortune, winning 2-1 and 9-6 against Fox & Hounds, to stay second, just one point behind division leaders Royal Oak Addicks.

Fox took a 3-2 lead in the first set but Glenmore turned it round in the second, taking it 4-1 before winning the final set 3-2 for the victory.

It was a good night if your name was Dean, as Coppen won all three of his frames and Geary-Parr both of his, which included a 7-baller.

Pickwick Academicals were looking to gain revenge on Greyhound, after their defeat against them on the first day of the season and they did just that, winning 3-0 and 9-6 to leapfrog their opponents and lift themselves off the bottom of the table.

It was a fantastic team performance with Jason Levingbird scoring a hat-trick, Kevin England winning both his frames and Donna Levingbird followed up her first victory with another win this week.

Third and fourth swapped places this week, as Eltham Terrace Nuthouse beat Bellegrove A by 2 sets to 1 and 9 frames to 6.

Nuthouse got off to a great start, winning the first set 4-1 and the second,3-2 for a 7-3 lead, meaning they only needed one frame for the bonus point.

They got that in the first frame of the final set but Bellegrove went on to take the set, 3-2.

Julie Lancaster won her only frame but Shaun Shephard went one better by scoring two out of two.

Hotshots return to the top of SLKPA Elite League with a 2-1 and 10-5 victory over Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats.

The new league leaders didn't have it all their own way as Rugrats took the first set, 3-2 but Hotshots turned it round, winning the next two 4-1, with Steve Krishnan getting the winning frame.

Neil Hall was the only unbeaten player, winning all three of his frames.

Bellegrove drop to second as a result of a narrow 2-1 and 8-7 defeat to O'Connors.

Despite their victory, O'Connors drop to fourth. on the same points as Eltham Terrace Club A but Eltham have more wins.

Eltham's latest win was the derby victory against Eltham Terrace Rovers.

Rovers looked like they could record their first win of the season as they took the first set 3-2 but Eltham won the second set 4-1 and the third 3-2, giving them a 2-1 and 9-6 victory overall.

Eltham's Steve Pearce is in top form at the moment, winning three out of three for the second week running.

Eltham Terrace Rack Pack's winning streak was restricted to just one match as they were comprehensively beaten, 3-0 and 13-2 by Pickwick.

The pick of the Pickwick players were Paul Slater, whose hat-trick included a break and dish and Jeff Bailey, who won both his frames.

Three other players also won two out of two as the Pickwick ran riot.
