After playing three games each, the top three teams in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Tier Two West, Bellegrove A, Glenmore Arms A and Royal Oak Addicks are all locked together on ten points and unbeaten.

Bellegrove had the week off so it gave the other two the chance to catch up but they both missed the opportunity to go top, as they could only take three of the four points available.

Glenmore narrowly beat Eltham Terrace Nuthouse 2-1 in sets and 8-7 in frames.

They took the first set, 3-2 with Dean Geary-Parr performing a lovely dish from a dry break.

Geary-Parr was the hero of the second set as well, producing a seven baller, as his side won the set by the same score line.

Shane O'Reilly got the Nuthouse off to a great start in the final set with a break and dish and Craig Jones finished it off with another break and dish to win the set, 3-2 with his third frame win of the night.

Remarkably the score between Royal Oak Addicks and Pickwick Academicals was exactly the same, as Addicks keep up their early season form.

Lee O'Brien set the ball rolling for Addicks, winning his only frame but they lost the first set 3-2.

The game was evenly matched but Addicks went on to win the next sets by the same 3-2 score.

All of the Academicals played well but Gary Mason was the star performer with two wins out of two.

In the other match in the division, Fox & Hounds beat Greyhound by 2 sets to 1 and by 9 frames to 6.

Father and daughter duo, Tom and Kerry Wyatt were the top performers for Fox, with Tom unbeaten on two out of two and Kerry with a hat-trick.

James Fickling was the only one to come out with any credit for Greyhound, winning both his frames.

The early leaders in SLKPA Tier Two East, Falconwood Club piled on the misery for North Heath Social Club by beating them 3-0 and 10-5.

Falconwood won the first set 4-1 and the second 3-2, to take a7-3 lead but North Heath fought back in the last, taking a 2-1 lead.

However Falconwood skipper, Paul Elford pulled off a break and dish for his hat-trick, to tie the set and they nicked the final frame to clinch maximum points.

Kieran Evans also won all three of his frames for the victors.

Foots Cray Social Club Minions can't seem to buy a win as they went down to their third huge loss, 3-0 and 13-2 against Royal Oak.

John Cochrane, Phil Tworek and Steve Heather all scored three out of three for the Oak.

Plumstead Radical Club Rebels took the first set, 4-1 against previously unbeaten Bellegrove Social Club but Bellegrove rattled off the next five frames to whitewash the second set.

The last set went to a final frame decider, which Elliot Giles held his nerve to give Rebels the 2-1 victory in sets but Bellegrove won more frames, 8-7 to share the points.

Bellegrove regain top spot in the SLKPA Elite League, after they beat Pickwick by 3 sets to 0 and 9 frames to 6.

It was a good fudge battle between the teams and the result was harsh on Pickwick who played well.

Paul Gafa was the pick of the Pickwick players, winning both his frames but Bellegrove's George Covington went one better with three out of three.

Hotshots fall into second after they surprisingly drop a set against Eltham Terrace Rovers.

The first two sets were won 4-1 by Hotshots, with Darren Porter the only one putting up any resistance for Rovers.

However this changed in the final set as Porter won his third frame of the night to help Rovers take the set 3-2, making the final score 2-1 and 10-5 in Hotshots favour.

As well as Porter, both Danny Kelliher and Andre Cox scored three out of three for Hotshots.

Holding on to third place are O'Connors who claimed a 3-0 and 11-4 victory over Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats.

Adam Everitt started well for O'Connors with a break and dish in the first set.

Rugrats Captain, Scott Shephard led from the front, unbeaten in winning half of his team's frames.

The battle of Eltham Terrace was comprehensively won by Eltham Terrace Club A, beating Eltham Terrace Rack Pack, 3-0 and 12-3.

Ben McIntosh won three out of three for the second week running for the victors and he was joined, this week by Dan Foley.

Also unbeaten were Paul Shrimpton and Captain Ron Brown, winning two frames each.
