FOOTBALL: Oak Lodge Primary School in West Wickham will represent Crystal Palace in the Premier League U11s schools six-a-side tournament at White Hart Lane.

Oak Lodge won all three games, with Taran Niyazi and Daniel Jones contributing five goals from midfield and team captain Sam Reardon leading by example in defence.

Teacher Tim Ayres said: “The boys are now preparing for the competition at the home of Spurs on May 23 where they will be competing against school teams representing the other 19 Premier League clubs.

“This is a huge achievement for the school, and comes on the back of the team representing Bromley at the London Youth Games.”
