Report by Nick Park
KENT Athletic Club's British international Jermaine Mays glided to an emphatic win in the Greenwich Park 10k, with a time of 32mins 2secs.
The Ladywell-based athlete, who matched the park's scenery by sporting a green t-shirt, afterwards said: "As well as enjoying the occasion it was a good way to give the legs a stretch before the imminent English National Cross Country Championships in Sunderland."
With Julian Gevers' impressive time of 37mins 1sec and Luke Armitage clinching third with 34mins 18secs - Kent AC, for the fifth year on the trot, came away as winners of the men's team competition.
