Rileys Hotshots were two points ahead of O'Connors at the top of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Premier Division but after results this week they are all square and they play each other in the final game of the season next week.

Hotshots took a 5-0 lead against Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats and went on to win the next two sets, 3-2 for an 11-4 overall victory.

Despite the large winning margin, only one player was unbeaten, Richard Chapman with three frame wins.

Meanwhile O'Connors beat North Heath Social Club, 13-2 to go level on points with Hotshots and set up next week's nail biting encounter.

Third placed Radical Rebels maintain their six point lead over Bellegrove with a 12-3 win over Pickwick Academicals.

The Rebels carried on from where they left off last week, taking the first set 5-0 and won the next two, 3-2 and 4-1.

The score line flattered the Rebels but they were just more clinical on the night with Stacy Redman and Declan Kelly winning all three frames, Louis Wilbourne just behind on two out of two and Paul Elford winning his only frame.

Dean Williams came out with some credit for Academicals, beating Dayle Stork twice in their three frames against each other.

Bellegrove matched Rebels 12-3 victory, against Eltham Terrace Rack Pack.

Pail Williams won both his frames to make it five on the spin for him but both Craig Mallinder and Clive Black went one better this week with a hat trick each.

In the final game in the division, Eltham Terrace Club A beat Pickwick by 9 frames to 6.

By their own admissions, Pickwick were poor, although George Hammond made a great clearance in the seventh frame.

Eltham's Dan Foley made a superb break and dish in the final set with Dave Rawlinson winning a frame in each set.

Eltham Terrace Rovers have made next week's final fixtures in SLKPA Division One interesting by cutting the gap at the top to just three points, with an 11-4 victory over Bellegrove Social Club.

Unlike their match last week, Rovers were in control from the beginning, winning the sets, 3-2, 4-1 and 4-1.

Darren Porter and Dean Rider both won all three of their frames and Kevin England was triumphant in both of his frames.

Bellegrove's Paul Hutchings made it five out of five over the two weeks against Rovers, with his two frame wins this week.

All in all next week's final round of league matches should be quite exciting.
