The South London & Kent Pool Alliance Founders Cup quarter final draw produced three potential banana skins, with lower division teams playing Premier Division sides but only one came to fruition.

Eltham Terrace Rovers, sitting second in the first division faced third in the Premier Division, Radical Rebels and it was the lower division side that had the better start, winning the first set 3-2.

Dean Rider beat Stacy Redman in the first frame of the second set then Ryan Francis put Rovers 5-2 up.

Dayle Stork pulled one back for Rebels but Rob Hearn was triumphant against Declan Kelly and Darren Porter performed a fantastic break and dish for his second win of the night.

Rovers went into the final set 7-3 ahead, looking for just one frame for victory but Redman kept his side in it with a solid frame.

However Francis, with his hat trick gave Rovers the well deserved 8-4 victory.

It does remain a mystery why, after winning in the first set, Louis Wilbourne didn't get another frame.

It was a great team performance that has earned Rovers a semi final spot against Bellegrove.

They faced O'Connors in an all Premier Division tie.

Bellegrove continued their fine league form into the cup and won by 8 frames to 6 with Kevin Smith winning all three of his frames.

Division One's Royal Oak Addicks played out of their skins against Eltham Terrace Club A of the Premier Division.

All the frames were tight and the match was close going into the final set but Eltham's class eventually told, winning the match 8-5.

They will meet Pickwick in the other semi final, after their opponents White Hart, from Division Two may have been running scared and failed to field a side.
