Due to a postponement, Rileys Hotshots had two games to play this week in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Premier Division, with mixed fortunes.

Firstly they played Radical Rebels and the Rebels won the first set, 3-2 but they lost the next two, 4-1 and 3-2 to make the overall score 9-6 in Hotshots favour.

The score could quite easily have been the other way round but it was a respectable win against a good side that kept them unbeaten and returned them to the top of the table.

Stacy Redman showed quality, winning all three frames.

Hotshots happiness was short lived as after fifteen matches they have finally been beaten, with Eltham Terrace Club A the victors.

It looked like they would be keeping their unbeaten record, taking the first set 4-1, including a break and dish from Robbie Robb.

Eltham Terrace won the next set 3-2, before Hotshots Captain, Andre Cox put his team 7-4 up but Eltham pulled it back to 7 all.

As if by fate, Dan Heinink faced Danny Kelliher in the deciding frame, just like their previous meeting this season.

This time the result was reversed, after an awesome clearance from Heinink, giving him his hat trick and Eltham Terrace the 8-7 victory.

O'Connors took full advantage of Hotshots misfortune with a big win to reclaim top spot by four points.

The match against Eltham Terrace Rack Pack wasn't as one sided as the 12-3 score line suggests, although Rack Pack did fight back from 11-0 down to win three of the last four frames, to make the score more respectable.

After their disappointment against Hotshots, Rebels turned it around against Pickwick to hang on to third place.

They quite literally turned it around as Pickwick took a 4-1 lead and went on to 6-3 but Pickwick can't seem to finish teams off at the moment and Rebels pegged it back to 7 apiece.

Dayle Stork pulled off a great clearance in the final frame, giving Rebels the 8-7 victory.

Paul Gafa won all three of his frames for Pickwick, as did Louis Wilbourne, holding his composure to keep Rebels in the match not once but twice in the process.

Bellegrove continue their good form and rise up the table with a 9-6 win over Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats.

Ian Cruwys won half the Rugrats frames, with Bellegrove's Tony Halpin also winning all three frames, two of which against Scott Shephard, one with a break and dish and the other a clearance after a dry break.

Paul Williams was also unbeaten, with two frame wins.

Pickwick Academicals almost picked up their first win of the season but North Heath Social Club nicked it in a final frame decider for an 8-7 victory.

The only consolation for Academicals was Dean Williams winning all three of his frames.

Rileys Sharpshooters extend their lead at the top of SLKPA Division Two to thirteen points after a 15-0 whitewash against White Hart.

There was some awesome pool played by, Steve Dixon, John Shepherd, Arif Salih, Alex Dobbins and Elliot Giles, who were all dominant.

It was a great match with some fantastic clearances between Bellegrove A and Plumstead Radical Club Rebels.

Bellegrove won the first set 3-2 but Rebels tied the match, taking the second by the same score.

The first four frames of the final set were shared then Bellegrove Captain John Skuza won his only frame to give his team the 8-7 victory.

Richie Mitchell was in wonderful form, winning all three frames, with Jon Syta doing the same for the Rebels.

Glenmore Arms 2 hold onto third after a12-3 triumph over Lord Herbert.

Lee Dale won both of his frames but Dan Brown and Patrick Melia both went one better by winning all three.

Glenmore Arms A suffered a shock defeat in SLKPA Division One against Royal Oak Addicks.

Lee O'Brian and Adam Newbrooke both scored a hat trick in their team's 9-6 victory.

There was another shock as bottom team Bellegrove Social club beat Eltham Terrace Nuthouse, 8-7.

It was a close match with each set having the same 3-2 score.

Nuthouse won the first set but it was a night of missed opportunities as Bellegrove went on to win the next two.

The victors Martin Hession was in superb form, winning all three of his frames.

There were no shocks at the Fox & Hounds, although it was a close game against Eltham Terrace Rovers.

The first set went to Rovers, 3-2 but Fox reversed that in the second to tie the match.

Darren Porter won his third of the night to put Rovers ahead but Neil Shelton equalised however Dean Rider won his only frame and Lee Osborn got his hat trick to secure the win for Rovers.

Kerry Wyatt and Paul Dawson battled hard for the final frame, which Wyatt won to make the score 8-7 in Rovers favour.

This win puts Rovers just ten points behind Glenmore at the top.
