Week twelve of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance winter season and second place in the Premier Division, O'Connors outclassed bottom team, Pickwick Academicals in a good spirited match.

O'Connors literally dished out a pool masterclass with four dishes from dry breaks as well as a break and dish from Tony Gear.

It was almost the perfect night, winning 14-1 to close the gap at the top to just three points.

Another team in great form were Bellegrove, sitting in sixth place, beating third place Radical Rebels by a massive 12 frames to 3.

The standard from Bellegrove was amazing, with a lot of frames won in one visit, but the Rebels did improve as the night went on, with the set scores, 5-0, 4-1 and 3-2.

The final set could have gone either way, going down to a decider after Louis Wilbourne beat Tony Halpin and Declan Kelly beat Craig Mallinder but Paul Williams won the final frame for Bellegrove.

Unbeaten on the night was George Covington and Clive Black, both winning all three frames.

This result puts Bellegrove level on points with Pickwick, who beat Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats, 9-6.

It was a long match with Pickwick winning each set, 3-2.

Shaun Shephard played well for Rugrats but Pickwick's Dean James won three out of three, even though he wasn't at his best.

There was a real battle at Eltham Terrace where Rack Pack took on Eltham Terrace Club A.

Tony Frost made a great start for Rack Pack, with a break and dish in the first set and went on to win all three of his frames.

Despite this Eltham Terrace A won the first two sets 3-2 and went on to take the first frame of the final set for a 7-4 lead, with Ben McIntosh winning his second out of three frames played.

Rack Pack staged a fightback, claiming the next three frames to level the match at 7 all.

Both Captains faced each other in a tense final frame, where mistakes were made by both players.

Ron Brown eventually won the frame with a treble on the black, for his hat trick and Eltham Terrace's 8-7 victory.

Rileys Hotshots remain unbeaten after a 10-5 win against North Heath Social Club.

They got off to a great start winning the first set 4-1 and they didn't look back, going on to win the next two sets 3-2, with Danny Kelliher taking a frame in each set.

There was only two matches in the SLKPA first division and Eltham Terrace Rovers couldn't take advantage of Glenmore Arms A week off and catch up on their games in hand.

Royal Oak Addicks were Rovers visitors and they got off to a good start, winning the first set 3-2, including a 7-baller from Adam Newbtooke.

Rovers battled back in the second, winning it by the same score to tie the match at 5 all.

The final set swung one way then the other, with Addicks taking the first frame but Ryan Francis won his third of the night to level the match again.

The next two frames went exactly the same way so the match went to a final frame decider, with Darren Porter facing Colin Smith, which the latter won, for his hat trick and the Addicks 8-7 victory.

Third played fourth as Fox & Hounds met Eltham Terrace Nuthouse and it was the team in fourth that got off to a flyer, winning the first set 5-0.

Fox's first win came from an unlikely source in Earnest Chin and he was followed by Tom Wyatt but Nuthouse won the next three frames to seal the victory.

Shane O'Reilly won his third of the night and Julie Lancaster secured her two out of two to make the score 10-2 but Fox won the last three frames to make the final score a more respectable 10-5.

This victory puts Nuthouse on equal points with their opponents.
