The South London & Kent Pool Alliance turned it's attention to the team knockout competition, The Founders Cup this week and White Hart proved that anything really can happen in the cup.

Sitting bottom of Division Two, with only one league win all season, White Hart travelled to Premier Division Eltham Terrace Rack Pack, who also have only one league win and came away with a shock 8-7 victory.

Rack Pack would have fancied their chances after beating second division opposition in the last round but White Hart played their hearts out to set up a quarter final appearance against another Premiership side, Pickwick.

They made their way into the quarter final with a comprehensive win, inside two sets against Division One leaders Glenmore Arms A.

There was some good pool played by Dean James, Paul Gafa and Paul Slater, all scoring two out of two to help Pickwick win 8-2.

As they had played on another night the team turned up to cheer on their other side, Pickwick Academicals take on Eltham Terrace Club A.

The first two sets were shared, with both teams winning a set 3-2, then the home support seemed to be working, as Academicals took a 7-6 lead but Steve Pearce levelled, potting the black off three cushions.

So it was down to a final frame shoot out, which Eltham's Captain, Ron Brown won, playing a superb safety frame when he looked dead and buried, to give his team the 8-7 win.

Dan Heinink was in top form for Eltham, winning all three of his frames.

They will meet Royal Oak Addicks from the first division in the quarter final, after they beat fellow first division team Bellegrove Social Club.

Colin Smith was the inspiration behind Addicks 8-6 triumph, winning all three of his frames.

After beating the league leaders, Rileys Hotshots in the last round, Bellegrove faced their other side and Division Two leaders Rileys Sharpshooters in this round, with the Premier Division team victorious by 8 frames to 4.

Elliot Giles was the only one to come out with any credit for Sharpshooters, winning three of his team's four frames, while Craig Mallinder also won three frames for Bellegrove.

Bellegrove's route to the final will not be an easy one, as their quarter final opponents will be second in the Premier Division, O'Connors.

Fox & Hounds were heavily beaten, 8-1 by O'Connors, with Alan Dolan winning their only frame.

Tony Gear, Adam Everitt and Adam Coppen all won two frames with Joe Kane triumphant in his only frame.

Glenmore Arms II couldn't keep up their winning ways, as they lost to Eltham Terrace Rovers within two sets, 8-2.

Rovers showed why they are a division above Glenmore, winning each set 4-1, with Paul Dawson, Lee Osborn and Kevin England all winning two frames and Rob Hearn his only frame on his return to the side.

Finishing off the draw for the quarter final are Radical Rebels, who beat fellow Premier division side, North Heath Social Club by 8 frames to 3.
