London-bound NBA basketball team Milwaukee Bucks celebrated their impending fixture in Greenwich with a special London night at their most recent home game.

The Bucks will play the New York Knicks at the O2 on Thursday and are clearly looking forward to touching down in south east London, judging by the hullabaloo on Friday.

The home arena, the BMO Harris Bradley Center celebrated London night with themed give-aways, live performances and even bangers and mash  and fish and chips were served in the English-themed concessions stand.

The first 10,000 adult fans were given limited edition soccer-style Bucks scarves while cover bands performed The Who and Rolling Stones hits and Cirque de Soleil performed a halftime show.

The Bucks’ assistant coach, and also Great Britain’s head coach, Joe Prunty said: “It is great to have the Milwaukee Bucks and the city of Milwaukee represented in the UK at the NBA Global Games. It is also exciting to share a little bit of our experience with the fans at home even before we head over to play in London's The O2 arena.”
