The final week of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance summer season and it was still all to play for at the top of Tier Two East, with O'Dowds Flyers just two points ahead of Glenmore Arms A with four to play for.

O'Dowds went to bottom team White Hart whereas Glenmore were playing Eltham Terrace Nuthouse, the team just below them in the table.

Glenmore were helped by Nuthouse only having four players but they still had to put the wins on the board and they did just that with a 3-0 and 11-4 victory.

They took the lead from the very first frame and they never looked like losing it, going on to win the first set 4-1, the second 3-2 and the final set 4-1 again.

Alan Rothwell kicked it all off and went on to win all three of his frames, as did James Grant, who went on to win the Tier Two rankings as a result.

So Glenmorre have done all they can to lift the title, they just need to see how Flyers got on.

They started well with Jon Syta winning the first of his three frames but White Hart won the next two, before Keith Smith and Alex Dobbins won to seal the set for Flyers.

White Hart won the first frame of the second set but Flyers took the next four to secure the set and the division title.

They went on to take the last set as well, making the final score 3-0 and 10-5 to Flyers.

Joining Syta on three out of three was Keith Smith and Alex Dobbins.

Gleenmore Arms II finished the season off strongly with a 2-1 and 9-6 triumph over Bellegrove Social Club B.

The first set swung to and fro with Glenmore edging  it 3-2 but Bellegrove reversed that in the second set with Martin Hession winning the decider.

Terry Mitchell started the final set in Bellegrove's favour with his third frame win for the second week in a row but Glenmore took the next four frames for the victory.

Lewis Brind and Sam Bell had their own personal battle, facing each other in each set with Brind winning each time.

Tier Two West was all done and dusted but we still found the top two, Eltham Terrace Rovers and Rack Pack were facing each other.

Rack Pack took first blood with Alex Thompson performing a break and dish in the first frame, on their way to taking the first set 3-2

Darren Porter got his own back on Thompson by winning the first frame of the second set, which Rovers went on to win 4-1.

Thompson started the third set the same way he started the first with a break and dish but Rovers won the next three frames to win the set and the match before Rack Pack took the final frame to make the score 2-1 and 9-6 to Rovers.

Ryan Francis and Paul Dawson finished the season on a high, both winning all three of their frames.

Lord Clyde had a good end to the season by beating third placed Pickwick Academicals 2-1 and 8-7.

They stunned Academicals by taking a 4-1 lead in the first set and going on to take the second set 3-2, before Academicals made the score more respectable by winning the final set 4-1.

Martin Luff, Billy Russell and Bill Mossom all won two of their three frames but Academicals Dean Williams was unbeaten  in his two frames.

O'Dowds A finished their season with a 2-1 and 10-5 win over Royal Oak Addicks to finish one point and one place above Lord Clyde, in fourth.

The first set was close, with O'Dowds just edging it 3-2 but they overpowered the Addicks in the second set with a 5-0 whitewash before Addicks took the final set 3-2.

Neil Shelton and Kerry Wyatt finished the night unbeaten, winning three frames each.
