Orpington sprinter Dina Asher-Smith is the new world 100m junior champion.
The Blackheath & Bromley Harriers member led the field home in Oregon in a time of 11.23s to secure the crown.
Asher-Smith, 18, said: “I can’t believe that I’m world junior champion.
“So many great people have done it before and it’s really humbling to be among them.
“I’ve worked really hard for it for such a long time and to be able to fulfil what I really wanted to do is amazing.”
