Both teams from the Glenmore Arms, Glenmore Arms II and A, faced each each other this week,in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Tier Two East and it was the A side that left with the bragging rights to stay just two points behind the league leaders, O'Dowds Flyers.

The A side were about to start the match with a bare five but Dean Coppen arrived with ten minutes to spare and help them to a massive 3-0 and 12-3 victory.

All three sets were won 4-1, with Tony Stevens the unfortunate one to lose in two of those sets and Paul Thomas could't continue last week's form, losing in the other.

Alan Rothwell and Dean Geary-Parr both won all three of their frames with Geary-Parr's including a '7-baller'.

Also unbeaten were Dean Coppen and James Grant, each scoring a brace.

O'Dowds Flyrs stay top of the table after a 2-1 and 9-6 win over Bellegrove Social Club B.

Flyers took the first set 3-2 and the second set 4-1 with Keith Smith securing the match winning frame.

Bellegrove fought back in the last set and with the score at 2-2 both Captains, Smith and John Skuza played each other but Smith was unable to keep the good fortune from the previous set, potting the black and white in the same visit, giving Bellegrove the set.

Alex Dobbins was man of the match, winning all three frames for Flyers.

Eltham Terrace Nuthouse earned a narrow victory over bottom team White Hart by 2 sets to 1 and 9 frames to 6.

Shane O'Reilly and Shaun Shephard won both of their frames for the Nuthouse but by far the strangest event of the night came courtesy of White Hart's Ian Cruwys, who was given a time foul.

Although it has been on the cards most of the season, both North Heath Social Club and Royal Oak  have had their fates sealed and have been relegated from the SLKPA Elite League.

Royal Oak put up a valiant effort against Bellgrove, who are in second place, only going down by 2 sets to 1 and 11 frames to 4.

Phil Tworek won half of his team's frames but Bellegrove's Tony Halpin and Paul Williams went one better, taking all three of their frames.

North Heath went down 3-0 and 10-5 to top team O'Connors, who go eight points clear of Bellegrove.

Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats earned a great victory against third placed Eltham Terrace Club A, by 2 sets to 1 and 10 frames to 5.

The first set went to form with Eltham Terrace winning 3-2 but Rugrats fought hard and won the next two sets 4-1 to take the match.

Andre Cox won two of his three frames, which included a break and dish but George Covington went one better and won all three of his frames.

Rugrats Captain Scott Shephard was only prevented from getting his three out of three by an excellent break and dish from Dan Foley.

Rugrats are now three points ahead of Rileys Rebels and one point behind Pickwick, who played each other this week.

Pickwick took the first set 4-1 then Rebels nicked the second set 3-2 but Pickwick stayed strong and won the final set 3-2, to make the final score 2-1 and 9-6 in Pickwick's favour.

Ash Hall won all three of his frames for Pickwick, which included the deciding frame in the final set, while Rebels Declan Kelly cleared up after his opponent went in off on the break and Leighton Aston reversed his luck from last week and won both of his frames.

Eltham Terrace Rovers go ever nearer the SLKPA Tier Two West title after a convincing 3-0 and 10-5 victory over Pickwick Academicals.

Rovers were dominant from the start, taking the first set 4-1 and the second 3-2 but  the Academicals took a 2-1 lead in the last set before Ryan Francis and Paul Dawson, winning his third frame of the night, won to seal the victory.

As well as Dawson, Lee Osborn also notched up a hat trick to send Rovers eleven points clear at the top.

Their nearest rivals Eltham Terrace Rack Pack dropped the first set against bottom team Royal Oak Addicks but fought back well to win the match 2-1 and 9-6.

Ernie Wellhausen arrived to drag his team out of trouble, scoring two out of two and Steve Murphy won his only frame.

O'Dowds A go two points clear of their opponents, Lord Clyde by beating them 2-1 and 8-7.

It was a very close match with both teams playing with a bare five and each set being won by a 3-2 score line, O'Dowds taking the first two and Lord Clyde the last.

Considering the closeness there were two players, one from each side, that won all three frames, Alan Dolan for O'Dowds, including the decider in the first two sets and Martin Luff for Lord Clyde.
